Are the samples really free?
Yes. MOARCONN supplies 20 pieces of free samples for standard SD, Micro SD, SIM and smart card connectors — you only cover the express cost. A fully custom design that needs a new mould is quoted separately and confirmed in writing before any work starts, so there is never a hidden charge.
Who pays the shipping cost?
The samples are free; express freight is paid by the recipient. We ship by DHL or FedEx from Dongguan, usually USD 25–45 depending on destination and weight, and send you the tracking number the day the parcel leaves. If you have your own courier account, we are happy to ship on it.
How long from drawing to mass production?
Drawing confirmation takes 24 hours. Standard-type samples are built and shipped in 3–7 days. A full custom development — mould design, first article and validation — averages 25 days. Mass production begins only after you approve the first article report.
What information do you need from me?
Connector type (SD / Micro SD / SIM / smart card), height limit, mounting style (push-pull, hinge or flip), target device and expected volume. Give us the brand and part number you use now and we will recommend a drop-in replacement you can test side by side.
Can you sign an NDA before I send my drawing?
Yes. We sign a mutual NDA before receiving any drawing, and your files stay inside the R&D team handling the project. MOARCONN holds 25 patents and treats customer drawings and tooling as the customer's property — moulds are never reused for other clients without written permission.
